The aim of the FERPODE project is to place a new product on the market: a new high-quality organic fertilizer, obtained through the combined use of poultry dejection (fowl manure) and vegetable active principles (VAP). The product is provided with the following innovative characteristics, so as to distinguish it from others already available on the market:
- Reduced salinity
- Slow release Nitrogen (N) (an immediate-release ammoniacal component and another with delayed release)
- Water and energy saving
